Ah, yeah. I hate Indiana weather. With a passion. A lot of people in Indiana hate it. It's so bi-polar, and is ridiculous. Like you look out the window at 3:00 and it's sunny and beautiful. You look outside at 3:15 and there's a foot of snow on the ground.
Okay, that was a bit of an exaggeration, but that is what it seems like.
Most people just hate these weather changes because they mess with plans and activities. Weather changes are really hard on me both mentally and physically.
I hate how they make me feel...

Weather changes really effect someone with any sort of chronic pain or illness. I can tell days in advance when rain, snow, or a major temperature change is coming. Some of us RSDers joke around and call ourselves human barometers. It's sad, but true.
Sometimes as much as five days ahead of a storm system, my entire body starts to ache. It starts out in my ankles and spreads upwards until the day before a storm, where I get a massive headache. It's a weird sensation, but, with Indiana weather, I can always tell what's coming.
I hate it though. It's fun to joke around that we're barometers, but I don't want to feel this way. None of us do. Making fun of our own body's reactions to storm systems is just a way to cope, I guess.
At this point in time, I don't think I can mange living in the midwest for much longer past college. It's not that I don't want to be near family and friends or anything. It's just an awful way to feel and live. I honestly think the weather plays a major part in why I have been feeling so awful these past few months. It's been more up and down than usual, and it's just kind of crazy.
I hope the weather balances out soon. We have a major drop in temperature coming later this week, I can feel it haha. Hopefully it's our last major drop and we'll be into more spring and summer weather as soon as possible. Winter weather is just awful.
For now, just gotta keep on keeping on... Not much I can do other than that. Stay strong, Spoonie friends. We can make it through, as long as we're t
