I'm not 100% sure what this is all about, but the lovely Chronic Chronicles (Thank you so, so much!) commented on a post and "nominated me." I figured I may as well go through and do this!
Here are the “Thank you” Rules for the Nomination!
*Add The Versatile Blogger award photo on a blog post.
Check!
*Thank the person who presented you with the
award and link back to him or her in your post.
*Share seven things about yourself.
*Pass the award along to 15 bloggers you have recently discovered.
*Contact the chosen bloggers to let them know about the award.
Seven quick things about me:
1) I am a senior in high school - Graduataion is EXACTLY 4 weeks from today!
2) I plan to study Music Therapy and Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne next year!
3) I (in case you're not up to date with this blog ;]) have a few different chronic pain/illness issues.
4) Music is my life. I sing, play guitar, ukulele, saxophone, and piano. I am a member of the Indianapolis Youth Chorale and the Center Grove Indoor Percussion ensemble.
5) I have a passion for helping children with special needs.
6) I am a Christian. My faith is very important to me. It keeps me grounded, and helps me fight my daily battles of a chronic pain patient.
7) I love watching movies! I don't get much time anymore because of my crazy schedule - and in my free time, i'm too exhausted. But I do love sitting down, relaxing, and enjoying a good movie with friends/family.
Okay, I don't follow 15 blogs regularly, but four of my favorites include:
Living With Bob (Dysautonomia)
Chronic Chronicles
Misdiagnosed Me...Advocating For Myself
Jessica's Journey
Again, thank you to the Chronic Chronicles for nominating me for this.. Kinda awesome. :]

Anyways! Back to the "normal" stuff. ;]
So, this weekend should be an interesting one! I'm currently in this class at school called Child Development. It's exactly what it seems like. Learning about the process of labor, the development of the child etc. Fun stuff.
See, I didn't actually want to take the course. It was my last "alternate" elective, and I ended up getting stuck with it. I absolutely love the teacher though, and the people I sit with in class are pretty are pretty fun, so it's not terrible.
My problem, though, is the project we have to do. We each have to take home a Real Care Baby Doll.
It cries. A lot.
When it wants food, a diaper change, rocked, burped.. It cries.
And see, I know that with a real baby this happens. Of course it does. Of course I know this. I have baby cousins. They're needy.
My problem is, I'm not even sure I want kids. I love playing with kids. But I don't think I can handle one on my own. LET ALONE TWO.
Yeah, that's right. I was THE ONLY PERSON in the ENTIRE class to draw twins. Lucky me!!! [/sarcasm].
Plus, I have a lot to do this weekend. Tonight, we have our final Indoor Percussion get together. It will be kind of weird. It's our last hurrah of the season after World Championships last weekend.
Then on Saturday, A few friends and I (with babies in tow!) are going to Bloomington. We're going to my grandma's house first, to get my prom dress altered (I can't wait to show you pics of everything - sometime after may 11th ;]) and then we'll go out to lunch somewhere in Bloomington. [:
Saturday night, I'm going out with one of my best friends, Jonathan! We're going to see the Butler University Ballet put on Igor Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring. I'm super excited! it will be the first ballet I've been to that isn't the Nutcracker. And, by the way, I have the best parents in the world. They volunteered to babysit (more like I bribed them...) so that I could go!
Then on Sunday, I have choir! It will be interesting taking the babies to IYC. It will definitely being a different experience. Holding a baby and a piece of music we're attempting to learn should be interesting!
Anyways, this weekend will be long and tiring, but I am excited for whatever comes of it. I have to tackle a lot of things on a regular basis - may as well throw in twin babies! ;]
Have a good weekend everyone! I'll let you know how this endeavor goes next week sometime. ;]
