Sorry I haven't blogged since last week! It's been a hectic few weeks.
Everything is going okay. Pain hasn't been too horrible. It was low enough for me to enjoy prom last weekend, so that was great!
This week has been senior spirit week at school! The theme days have been tons of fun!
Monday - TOGA DAY. Let's just say.. you look forward to toga day from the first time you see it your freshman year. all the seniors just walking around wearing togas. pretty awesome.
Tuesday - Career Day. This one's okay. You see a surprising amount of people in scrubs and lab coats! That's kind of the easiest job to dress up for. Some other jobs are hard to portray on a dress up day, but it's still pretty great!
Wednesday - Little Kid Day. Hilarious. I love this day. All the seniors dress up like, well, little kids! People wear their old girl/boy scout uniforms, carry around dolls/teddy bears... so cute :] Also the senior bike ride day! Seniors meet at a soccer field roughly a mile away from school at 6:30am. We get a police escort to school and ride our bikes to the school!
Thursday - Senior Citizen Day. This was pretty hilarious. People get really into character! They bring walkers and hobble around all day, talking about "the good 'ole days . It's pretty great. Also the Senior Sprint Day! Seniors meet in the hall of excellence at our school (Big open area, basically) and at the 2 minute bell in the morning, we all literally sprint to class. its always chaotic, but really entertaining to watch.
Friday - College T-Shirt Day. Well this day is actually tomorrow... but it's pretty self explanatory.. wear a shirt from the college you're attending in the fall!
So it's been a pretty great week! Finals start tomorrow (for seniors) and we have them through Wednesday. Then on Thursday we have a day of like recognizing the seniors and practicing for the commencement ceremony... WHICH IS NEXT FRIDAY.
I'm not excited or anything ;]
But anyways, wanna see some prom pictures and hear all about the fabulous evening?!

So prom was just amazing!
I woke up at like 10ish. Left to pick up Jon's boutonniere at like 11 and went straight to my hair appointment!
After I got home, I had about an hour to do my make up and put on my dress before Jon came over! :]
We took pictures in the yard etc. for a while, then headed to Julia's house for group pictures at 3:30!
After about an hour of pictures at Julia's, we all ran to the cars (to hopefully beat any possible rain) and headed to dinner!
We had a reservation at Iozzo's Garden of Italy in downtown Indianapolis! It was delicious :] After dinner, we went and parked in some super sketchy parking garage and wandered around downtown before going in to prom! We actually went and took some pictures on the circle in down town Indy. There's a big monument and such, it was really fun! :]
We partied it up at prom for about three hours and then left just before 11pm!
We piled back in the car and headed home to change for after prom! After prom this year was at a local place called Rascal's Funzone. They have arcade games, duck pin bowling, putt putt, and go-karts! And A LOT of free food [: Absolute perfection. ;]
We left after prom at about 2:30 am and headed home [: the next day, some of our group woke up and went to Kings island! Jonathan and I both had choir, though, so we skipped on that.
So prom was fantastic. :] it was definitely difficult, and I was (and still am, haha) negative quite a few spoons. But I figure... Senior prom only happens once. I can suffer a little extra for one night of unforgettable memories :]
